My photography journey stared on film. Taking a single class in college, we shot, developed, and printed all of our work by hand. Taking the time to slow down and make a photograph from beginning to end gave me the time to really think about what I was photographing. Was this important? What does it make me feel? Will this photo mean something more than just a snapshot? Learning these skills was what elevated my work and become more intentional with what I was looking to capture.
